SPARROWS VS SAINTS
The SoCal Sparrows earned a bid into the Best of the West Tournament by virtue of winning the Sunset Baseball League South Division. The Sparrows flew high in all of 2018 and are ready to make their presence known on the biggest of stages!
The South Bay Saints earned its spot in the Best of the West by earning the Beach Cities Collegiate Baseball League Championship.
GAME 1
SAINTS 5, SPARROWS 1
The South Bay Saints defeated the SoCal Sparrows 5-1 Tuesday afternoon at Vanguard University.

The Saints scored two in the 1st inning and never looked back, only allowing four hits to the Sparrows.

Charlie Nasuti knocked in the lone run for the Sparrows.

GAME 2
SPARROWS 6, SAINTS 2
The Sparrows evened up the series and forced a winner takes all Game 3.
GAME 3
SAINTS 12, SPARROWS 1
The Saints pulled away from the Sparrows and clinched a spot in Saturday's semifinal against the Long Beach Legends at 11 a.m.
